Why Pilates?

Why Yoga?

Yoga is a physical, mental, and spiritual practice that originated in ancient India.  It involves a series of postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques that aim to promote relaxation, flexibility, strength, and balance.  The word "yoga" is derived from the Sanskrit root "yuj," which means to “yoke” or "unite.” The practice aims to create union between body, mind and spirit.  Yoga is not just a form of exercise, it is a way of life that encourages mindfulness, compassion, and self-awareness. People practice yoga for various reasons, including stress relief, improved physical health, and spiritual growth.
