Welcome! I'm Laura, a BASI Pilates certified teacher and internationally accredited yoga teacher, passionate about helping people move with strength, confidence, and ease. My mission is to support each individual in unlocking their full potential and enhancing their overall health and wellbeing through the transformative power of Pilates and yoga. Nothing brings me more joy than seeing my clients move and feel better, and thrive in their daily lives - both physically and mentally.
I trained with BASI Pilates® (Body Arts and Science International) - a global leader in Pilates education known for its academic excellence and commitment to preserving the original Pilates method while incorporating modern scientific understanding.
While it’s possible to gain “certification” after just a short weekend course, I’ve chosen to pursue the gold standard in Pilates education through the BASI Comprehensive Programme. This in-depth training covers the full system of Pilates equipment. I have successfully completed the comprehensive training and am partway through the 500-hour practicum, which includes observation, teaching, self-practice, and case study work, as I work towards my final practical exams.
I’m also a 200-hour certified yoga teacher, having trained with Himalaya Yoga Valley under the guidance of Yogacharya Lalit Kumar, a respected teacher who studied with some of India’s most esteemed yoga Masters. My classes draw on authentic, traditional teachings that honour the roots of yoga.
With a background as a qualified personal trainer, I’ve also had the opportunity to work with leading global companies such as Coca-Cola and ExxonMobil, delivering health and wellbeing programmes to employees. These experiences have deepened my passion for helping others take charge of their physical and mental health.
